Witch What?
Stand-Up Comedy

Break up the week with this night of laughs. The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “Witch What?” live onstage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Tuesday, July 16th at 7 p.m.

Hailey Hackett, a nationally touring comedian, creates comedy for imperfect women on imperfect healing journeys. Her new experimental stand-up hour “Witch What?” strives to alchemize humor into catharsis with a metaphysical lean.

After walking 500 miles across Spain with her boyfriend-turned-fiancé, what’s another 12 steps? Join the fun as Hailey recounts her trip on the Camino de Santiago, a traditional pilgrimage, that is said to “give you what you need, not what you want.” Hailey got spiritual Drano. This rising star combines her comedy, healing work, and storytelling for an unforgettable night.

Hailey Hackett, a Washington D.C. native now based in Los Angeles, has shared stages with comedy legends like Maria Bamford, Laurie Kilmartin, and Al Lubel. You may know her from her retired podcast, Good Talk with Good People, featuring guests from Conan, NBC, and HBO. She’s also an undefeated roast battle winner at the Comedy Store and is gearing up for more rounds. Recently, attuned as a Reiki Master, her comedy packs a light-hearted healing punch. When she’s not cracking jokes, she’s getting a great workout from a heavy pocket of overpriced crystals (the mineral kind).

“Deeply hilarious.”

“An exploration of intergenerational trauma that is somehow hilarious.”

“[Hailey] has a unique gift with crowd work and roasting that is unmissable.”
