Fisher Theatre. \nMeet the film’s director of photography\, Bruce Alan Greene\, who will be in Sedona to host the opening day screening and Q&A on Friday\, June 19 at 4:00 p.m. \nA Los Angeles cab driver\, Jason Schuyler (Whip Hubley)\, is offered the fare of a lifetime by driving a local casino dealer and gambler\, Jake (Robert Mirabal)\, to the Navajo Reservation in Arizona\, the home he abandoned 30 years ago\, to see his grandson compete in a Native American rodeo. But the journey becomes far deeper: a moving reckoning with family\, memory\, forgiveness\, and what truly matters in the time we have left. \nBruce Alan Greene: Director of Photography\nA graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory\, Bruce Alan Greene has been one of Hollywood’s top camera operators over the past thirty years. His Steadicam and operating work have appeared in such memorable films as THE MASK\, MORTAL KOMBAT\, STAR TREK VI\, THE MAN WITHOUT A FACE\, STARSHIP TROOPERS\, and Francis Ford Coppola’s DRACULA. Most recently\, Bruce has been the Director of Photography on major international film productions starring future Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy. Polsky — a lonely and grumpy Holocaust survivor — lives in the remote countryside. He spends his days playing chess and tending his beloved rose bushes.  \nOne day\, when a mysterious old German man moves in next-door\, he suspects that his new neighbor is … Adolf Hitler. Since nobody believes him\, he embarks on a detective mission to find the evidence. But\, in order to gather evidence\, he will need to be closer to his neighbor than he would like. One Man’s Adventures (or\, How I Became a Septuagenarian Fanboy)” — chronicles director-teacher-administrator-author Paul Mason Barnes’s journey from novice\, sideline kibbitzer to full-on immersion in a political campaign. \nInspired by the emergence of Pete Buttigieg as a contender for the 2020 Democratic Party presidential nomination\, Barnes was invited to join Pete’s campaign early on and became a top Pete for America grassroots fundraiser and a member of Pete’s Arts Policy Advisory Committee. \n \n“Paul for Pete” recounts Barnes’s travels across America and the ways in which his work as a professional director intersected with and fed his PFA volunteer work\, all the while maintaining a long-term commitment to his partner-husband\, actor-director Jim Edmondson. \nBarnes’s experiences led to the publication of “Paul for Pete” and to the stage adaptation of this inspiring\, often hilarious\, deeply moving\, and truly American story. \n \nPaul Mason Barnes\nPaul Mason Barnes is a nationally known freelance director\, teacher\, administrator\, and author. He was Education Director for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival\, a founding director of the Oregon Cabaret Theatre\, Conservatory Director/Associate Artistic Director\, PCPA Theaterfest/Pacific Conservatory Theatre\, and a founding Producer-Director and former Artistic Director of Winona\, Minnesota’s Great River Shakespeare Festival. A writer from childhood (Editor\, Comstock Elementary School’s Comstock Gazette)\, “Paul for Pete” is his first foray into full-fledged authorship.
