Fisher Theatre. \nMeet the film’s director of photography\, Bruce Alan Greene\, who will be in Sedona to host the opening day screening and Q&A on Friday\, June 19 at 4:00 p.m. \nA Los Angeles cab driver\, Jason Schuyler (Whip Hubley)\, is offered the fare of a lifetime by driving a local casino dealer and gambler\, Jake (Robert Mirabal)\, to the Navajo Reservation in Arizona\, the home he abandoned 30 years ago\, to see his grandson compete in a Native American rodeo. But the journey becomes far deeper: a moving reckoning with family\, memory\, forgiveness\, and what truly matters in the time we have left. \nBruce Alan Greene: Director of Photography\nA graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory\, Bruce Alan Greene has been one of Hollywood’s top camera operators over the past thirty years. His Steadicam and operating work have appeared in such memorable films as THE MASK\, MORTAL KOMBAT\, STAR TREK VI\, THE MAN WITHOUT A FACE\, STARSHIP TROOPERS\, and Francis Ford Coppola’s DRACULA. Most recently\, Bruce has been the Director of Photography on major international film productions starring future Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy. His credits include CLOSE ENEMY\, 8 FIRST DATES\, LOVE IN THE BIG CITY 3\, and the most recent hit comedy\, 8 NEW DATES. \n“Road to Everywhere” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre June 19-24. DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona theatrical premiere of “My Neighbor Adolf” showing June 19-25 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre. \n“My Neighbor Adolf” won the Audience Choice Award for Best Feature Comedy at the 2024 Sedona International Film Festival and is now getting a theatrical release in theatres around the country.  \nSouth America\, May 1960\, just after Israel’s abduction of Adolf Eichmann in Argentina. Polsky — a lonely and grumpy Holocaust survivor — lives in the remote countryside. He spends his days playing chess and tending his beloved rose bushes.  \nOne day\, when a mysterious old German man moves in next-door\, he suspects that his new neighbor is … Adolf Hitler. Since nobody believes him\, he embarks on a detective mission to find the evidence. But\, in order to gather evidence\, he will need to be closer to his neighbor than he would like. So close that the two could almost become friends.   \n“My Neighbor Adolf” tells a story with offbeat humor\, a parable\, which walks the fine line between realism and absurdity. \n“My Neighbor Adolf” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre June 19-25. DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with The Wilde Resort in West Sedona to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience — “Wilde Wednesdays” Cinema Under the Stars — every Wednesday in the summer season! \nThis is the summer of romantic comedies at The Wilde! Join us on Wednesday\, June 24 as we present “Silver Linings Playbook” in The Grove Fire Pit Garden at The Wilde Resort and Spa. \n“Silver Linings Playbook” stars Bradley Cooper\, Jennifer Lawrence\, Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver. The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards\, including Best Picture. All of the lead actors were nominated for their performance. Jennifer Lawrence won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role. \nAfter losing his job and wife\, and spending time in a mental institution\, Pat Solatano (Bradley Cooper) winds up living with his parents (Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver). He wants to rebuild his life and reunite with his wife\, but his parents would be happy if he just shared their obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles. Things get complicated when Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence)\, who offers to help him reconnect with his wife\, if he will do something very important for her in exchange — enter a local dance competition with her. \nBring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen.
