Fisher Theatre. \nA gifted piano tuner’s meticulous skills for tuning pianos lead him to discover an unexpected aptitude for cracking safes\, turning his life upside down in “Tuner” — Academy Award-winning director Daniel Roher’s first narrative feature. \nLeo Woodall stars as a gifted young piano tuner whose heightened sense of hearing draws the attention of criminals\, who see his talents as useful for opening safes as well as for tuning Steinways.  \nWith his once-promising musical career over\, he works across New York with his mentor Harry Horowitz (Academy Award-winner Dustin Hoffman)\, encountering a range of characters\, including composition student Ruthie (Havana Rose Liu)\, with whom he forges an unexpected connection.  \nNiki’s safecracking work threatens his budding romance with Ruthie and pulls him into increasingly dangerous territory. \n“Tuner” will be shown at the Mary D. Instead\, she feels even more adrift and invisible.  \nOne day she unknowingly wanders into a support group where she doesn’t quite belong\, only to reveal a story that unwittingly brings her a level of attention she did not intend. Eleanor finds herself caught up in the enlivening consequences as a young journalism student pursues her as a friend and mentor. Places like St. Florian Monastery\, considered one of the largest and most magnificent Baroque monasteries in Austria. The Oslo Cathedral and Glasgow Scotland Hall. \nOverture: Consortium Vocale – Gregorian Chants recorded at the Oslo Cathedral. \nAudio Only Segment: Holst’s The Planets -The Mystic Trumpeter in its entirety by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra recorded at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. \nVideo Segment: Brahms: A German Requiem at recorded at the Stift St. Florian (St. Florian Monastery) considered one of the largest and most magnificent Baroque monasteries in Austria. \nPresented by Award-Winning Surround Sound composer/producer Koz Mraz (Discus Award\, 5.1 Category 2001\, Communicator Surround Award 2002\, Aurora Surround Award & Surround Grammy nominee 2005). A College Professor at Citrus College\, Glendale\, and Pasadena College\, Mraz taught classes in music production\, audio engineering\, and broadcast technology for over 15 years. He offers educational presentations via the Fair Use Doctrine of the U.S. Copyright Statute. DESCRIPTION:It’s “Big Screen at Basecamp” as the Sedona International Film Festival partners with Sedona Beer Company for its “Movies on the Move” cinema under the stars outdoor film experience at Basecamp in West Sedona — every Thursday in the summer season! \nJoin us on Thursday\, July 9 as we present “Three Amigos!” at Basecamp/Sedona Beer Company at dusk. \nIn the 1986 comedy classic “Three Amigos!”\, three out-of-work silent film actors — Lucky Day (Steve Martin)\, Dusty Bottoms (Chevy Chase)\, and Ned Nederlander (Martin Short) — are accidentally recruited to a Mexican village to perform their heroic onscreen roles. Unaware they are walking into real danger\, the trio must step up to defend the desperate town against a ruthless bandit named El Guapo. \nBasecamp will offer a selection of craft beers\, food and beverages (and a special menu item themed to each film)\, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Sedona International Film Festival. \n \n“Three Amigos!” will be shown outdoors at Basecamp Sedona Beer Company (70 Dry Creek Road) on Thursday\, July 9 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs.
