DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Sun Never Sets” showing Sept. 25-Oct. 1 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre. \n“The Sun Never Sets” — written and directed by Joe Swanberg — features a stellar ensemble cast\, including Dakota Fanning\, Jake Johnson\, Cory Michael Smith\, Debby Ryan\, Anna Konkle\, Lamorne Morris and Karley Sciortino. \nWendy (Dakota Fanning) believes she’s perfectly happy in her relationship\, until her older boyfriend Jack (Jake Johnson) — who is divorced with children — insists they take a break to make sure she’s fully okay giving up on the idea of marriage and babies. \nDuring this time\, Wendy unexpectedly runs into her ex\, Chuck (Cory Michael Smith)\, who reignites her carefree and spontaneous side\, and suddenly seems to want a family. \nThe three of them navigate a chaotic\, confusing and often funny relationship triangle\, reminding us that the pursuit of love is beautiful and messy all at once. \n“The Sun Never Sets” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre Sept. 25-Oct. 1. Director Marisa Fox will be in Sedona to host the film and do a live Q&A discussion after the screening. \nFreedom fighter\, double agent\, femme fatale — Tamar said she was all three. Decades after her death\, a page she wrote in a diary from a Nazi-run women’s camp reveals a hidden identity\, leading her daughter on a global reckoning with the secrets she took to her grave. \n“You think you know your mother until you don’t\,” says filmmaker Marisa Fox. Tamar was a New York doctor’s wife who claimed she fled her native Poland on the cusp of World War II and was never a Holocaust “victim”. DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with Village of Oak Creek Association to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience on Mondays. \nJoin us on Monday\, Sept. 28 for our final Village film of the season when we present “Young Frankenstein” outdoors at the Village of Oak Creek Association Park\, next to the clubhouse.  \nMel Brooks’ hit film boasts a sensational\, award-winning all-star cast\, including Gene Wilder\, Peter Boyle\, Marty Feldman\, Madeline Kahn\, Cloris Leachman and Teri Garr. “Young Frankenstein” was nominated for two Academy Awards. \nRespected medical lecturer and neurosurgeon Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (Gene Wilder) learns that he has inherited his infamous grandfather’s estate in Transylvania. Arriving at the castle\, Dr. Frankenstein soon begins to recreate his grandfather’s experiments with the help of servants Igor (Marty Feldman)\, Inga (Teri Garr) and the fearsome Frau Blücher (Cloris Leachman).  \nYoung Frankenstein believes that the work of his grandfather is only crap\, but when he discovers the book where the mad doctor described his reanimation experiment\, he suddenly changes his mind. After he creates his own monster (Peter Boyle)\, new complications ensue with the arrival of the doctor’s fiancée\, Elizabeth (Madeline Kahn). \nBring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from the festival’s “Movies on the Move” mobile concession stand.  \n“Young Frankenstein” will be shown outdoors at the VOC Association Park (690 Bell Rock Boulevard in the Village of Oak Creek) on Monday\, Sept. 28 at dusk.
