SUMMARY:Just Sing
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Just Sing” showing May 1-7 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre. \n“Just Sing” follows a pivotal season with the SoCal VoCals\, one of the country’s top collegiate a cappella groups\, as they pursue a record-setting sixth ICCA title. With graduation looming and expectations high\, the ensemble faces the pressure of competition alongside the uncertainty of what comes next. \nDirectors Angelique Molina and Abraham Troen take an intimate approach\, capturing rehearsals\, rivalries\, and the personal histories that shape each performer’s voice. SUMMARY:The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist” showing May 1-7 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres. \nFrom the Academy Award-winning filmmakers behind “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and “Navalny”. A father-to-be tries to figure out what is happening with all this AI insanity. “The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist” is a hand-made\, eye-opening documentary about the most powerful technology humanity has ever created … and what’s at stake if we get it wrong. \nA vital exploration of the revolutionary technology and the people behind it — from the major figures fast-tracking its development to the ones warning us about its dangers — the film\, directed by Daniel Roher and Charlie Tyrell\, is at once a thrilling primer\, a call to attention\, and an intimate personal story about what it means to look toward an uncertain future. \nIn “The AI Doc”\, Roher embarks on a winding odyssey to understand this unwieldy\, game-changing development\, interviewing a range of AI skeptics and champions\, pessimists and optimists\, realists and major power players — including CEOs such as OpenAI’s Sam Altman\, Google DeepMind’s Demis Hassabis\, and Anthropic’s Dario Amodei. Out of that deep dive emerges a tangle of momentous questions: Is humanity doomed? Are we living during the most promising time in human history or on the precipice of an age of extinction? What will become of us? \n“The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres May 1-7. Showtimes will be Friday\, Saturday\, Sunday and Monday\, May 1\, 2\, 3 and 4 at 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday\, May 5 and 6 at 3:30 and 7:00 p.m.; and Thursday\, May 7 at 3:30 p.m. \nTickets are $12\, or $9 for Film Festival members. SUMMARY:Eugene Onegin: Met Live Opera
DESCRIPTION:The Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres are honored to be the home for the Met Live Opera programs for the 2025-2026 season\, presented by the Sedona International Film Festival. \nThe season continues with Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” live via simulcast on Saturday\, May 2 at 10 a.m. (in the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre) and the encore presentation on Wednesday\, May 6 at 2 p.m. (in the Mary D. Fisher Theatre). There is no pre-opera talk for this opera. \nFollowing her acclaimed 2024 company debut in Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly”\, soprano Asmik Grigorian returns to the Met as Tatiana\, the lovestruck young heroine in this ardent operatic adaptation of Pushkin. Baritone Iurii Samoilov reprises his portrayal of the urbane Onegin\, who realizes his affection for her all too late. The Met’s evocative production\, directed by Tony Award–winner Deborah Warner\, “offers a beautifully detailed reading of … Tchaikovsky’s lyrical romance” (The Telegraph). \nACT I\nAutumn in the country. The widowed Madame Larina has two daughters: The romantic Tatiana spends her time reading novels; the spirited Olga is being courted by their neighbor\, the poet Lenski. When he visits with his friend\, the aristocrat Eugene Onegin\, Tatiana falls in love with Onegin and writes him a passionate letter. In response\, Onegin declares he can offer only friendship and condescendingly advises her to control her emotions\, lest another man take advantage of her innocence. \nACT II\nJanuary. Onegin has reluctantly accompanied Lenski to Tatiana’s name day celebration. Bored by the occasion\, he takes his revenge by flirting with Olga. Lenski’s jealousy is aroused to such a degree that he challenges Onegin to a duel. Both men are full of remorse\, but neither stops the duel\, and Onegin kills Lenski. \nACT III\nSt. Petersburg\, several years later. After traveling abroad\, Onegin has returned to the capital. At a ball\, Prince Gremin introduces his young wife. Onegin is astonished to recognize her as Tatiana and realizes that he now loves her. He sends her a letter begging her to run away with him. Tatiana admits that she still loves him but that she has made her decision and will not leave her husband\, leaving Onegin desperate. \nThe 2025-2026 Met Live Opera season in Sedona is generously sponsored by Chris Fladlien. \nThe Met Live Opera’s “Eugene Onegin” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre on Saturday\, May 2 at 10 a.m. (live simulcast) with an encore on Wednesday\, May 6 at 2 p.m. \nTickets are $25 general admission\, $22 for Film Festival members\, and $15 for students. Tickets are available in advance at the Sedona International Film Festival office or by calling 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A\, in West Sedona.

SUMMARY:In the Living Room Music Series: Sandrine Erdely-Sayo
DESCRIPTION:The In the Living Room Music Series offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step into the world of an international icon. On Monday\, May 4 at 7:00 p.m.\, series creator Shondra Jepperson sits down with Sandrine Erdely-Sayo — an International Steinway Artist — for an intimate evening of conversation\, insight\, and unparalleled musicianship. \nThe Mary D. Fisher Theatre stage will remain set with two majestic Steinway pianos\, serving as the backdrop for a deep dive into the life of a woman who has graced the world’s most famous concert halls. While audiences will have just seen her perform during the festival on May 1\, 2 and 3\, this Monday night event moves away from the formal recital to offer an “inside look” into Sandrine’s personal and professional journey. \n“Welcoming an artist of Sandrine’s caliber to the ‘Living Room’ is truly extraordinary\,” says moderator Shondra Jepperson. “Most people only see the master at work from a distance. To have her right here\, sharing her life story and her creative philosophy while those two beautiful Steinways are still on stage\, is a rare gift. It’s the ultimate ‘Inside the Artist’s Studio’ moment.” \nFor Sandrine Erdely-Sayo\, this evening is a bridge between the grand scale of an international festival and the personal connection of a small room. The audience will have the unique opportunity to ask questions and engage with the woman behind the music\, discovering the dedication\, passion\, and history that fuels a Steinway Artist. \nExecutive Director Patrick Schweiss added\, “I am thrilled to have Sandrine in this music series as it will be an intimate encore to the Piano on the Rocks festival. The audience will love this!” \nThe “In the Living Room Music Series” is made possible through the generous support of presenting sponsor Cleaner Quicker Car Wash\, alongside concert sponsors Sefton Engineering\, LaserGirl Skincare\, and new national sponsor MoonBrew. This collaborative support ensures that 100% of the ticket sales go directly to the performing artists and the Sedona International Film Festival. \nIn the Living Room Music Series featuring Sandrine Erdely-Sayo will take the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Monday\, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. \nTickets are $20 and are available in advance at the Sedona International Film Festival office or by calling 928-282-1177 or online at the BUY TICKETS link to the right. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A\, in West Sedona.

SUMMARY:Rebel With a Clause
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the one-day-only Sedona encore of “Rebel with a Clause” on Tuesday\, May 5 — National Teacher Appreciation Day — at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. \nOne fall day\, Ellen Jovin set up a folding table on a Manhattan sidewalk with a homemade sign that said “Grammar Table.” Right away\, passersby began excitedly asking questions\, telling stories\, and filing complaints. \nWhat happened next is the stuff of grammar legend. \nEllen and her filmmaker husband\, Brandt Johnson\, took the table on the road\, visiting all 50 states as Brandt shot the grammar action. But this story transcends grammar. It’s the story of an epic quest in a divided time to bring us all closer together. \n“When my wife\, Ellen Jovin\, first started setting up her Grammar Table\, I would sit nearby and watch the hilarious and heartfelt interactions she had with people from every imaginable background\,” said director Brandt Johnson. “In a time of social and political division\, the Grammar Table was a place of unity and connection. I needed to share with the world what I was witnessing\, so I began filming.” \nStarting an hour before the film\, come hang out with Ellen at her nationally acclaimed Grammar Table\, where she will answer grammar questions\, resolve family grammar disputes\, and take complaints. After the screening\, please stick around for a Q&A with Brandt and Ellen\, followed by a book signing of Ellen’s national bestseller. \n“Rebel with a Clause” will be shown at the Mary D. SUMMARY:Sirsy Concert
DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand: The Sedona International Film Festival announces award-winning recording duo Sirsy will be performing live in concert Thursday\, May 7 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre in Sedona at 7 p.m. \nIt’s hard to imagine a sound this big coming from just two people. The Boston Globe calls Sirsy the “little band with the big sound.” Fans call them the little band with big heart. \nHailing from NY\, Sirsy plays compelling singer-songwriter rock and pop with a charming intensity\, a bit of sass\, lots of soul\, and loads of heart. They write honest\, engaging songs that are instantly relatable and catchy. The Times Union says “Sirsy’s clever\, smart songs have more hooks than a tackle box”. Sirsy’s passionate and down-to-earth live shows also include storytelling and even some nerdy jokes. They can somehow make an audience sing along\, dance\, laugh\, and cry — all at the same show. \n \nMelanie Krahmer’s passionate and immediately arresting vocals are sultry and seductive. They can be a floaty whisper or at times raspy and rocking – with a little bit of a tongue-in-cheek tone\, as if she’s singing with a wink. She has one of the most powerful and flexible voices you’ll ever hear. Mel is also the band’s drummer (and featured in Modern Drummer). She simultaneously plays bass on a keyboard with her drumstick. Live\, she also plays piano\, melodica\, and the occasional badass flute solo too. \n \nMel’s bandmate\, co-writer and husband/bestie is Rich Libutti. Rich masterfully plays a well-loved and road worn Rickenbacker through a pedal board full of vintage effects. He sounds like 3 guitarists all on his own. SXSW music blog says “The guitar player is flawless and raw. Clean enough to be enjoyed\, and just edgy enough to make you grin.” Rich also plays bass (and at live shows often does it on a pedal board with his feet). \n \nThese 2 multi-instrumentalists manage to sound like a full band and somehow do it all with big smiles on their faces. It’s clear they love what they do. And that love is contagious when you see them live. You can’t help smiling along with them. With song lyrics that center around empowerment and resilience\, it’s no surprise that Sirsy’s fans have supported the duo through the pandemic\, over a dozen records\, 20+ years of touring\, and Mel’s 2 bouts with cancer. Every show is like a celebration for this couple and their fans. Come celebrate life with them! \n \nSirsy’s warmed stages for Brandi Carlile\, Maroon 5\, Train\, Grace Potter\, Joan Jett\, Cheap Trick\, Collective Soul\, Blues Traveler\, Spindoctors\, Adam Ezra Group\, Lifehouse & many more. They’ve had songs on the hit tv show “Shameless”\, the NFL\, HBO\, MTV\, and PBS. Their latest single\, “Stupid Little Heart” (Jan 7\, 2025) debuted at #10 on the folk chart. They are regulars on NPR. In 2024\, Sirsy was given the lauded ‘Thomas Edison Music Award’ for “rock/pop artist of the year” and “Record of the year” and in 2023 “solo/duo artist of the year”. SUMMARY:Doors of Deception with Paul Vigil
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “Doors of Deception with Paul Vigil” on Friday\, May 8 at 7 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. \nMagician Paul Vigil comes direct from his full-time home in Las Vegas\, where for many years he performed a highly acclaimed one-man magic show at the Mirage Resort. Paul has appeared regularly on TV\, including Penn & Teller Fool Us\, performances at every major Las Vegas casino\, full house shows at the famous Hollywood Magic Castle\, corporate events for fortune 500 CEOs\, and private performances for Nobel Laureates. \nPaul’s specialty is crafting incredibly fooling magic that is not only unique but regularly fools fellow performers. Paul now travels the globe performing his passionately powerful style of magic and mentalism\, leaving audiences in a state of complete disbelief. \n \nPenn & Teller refer to Paul Vigil as one of the most diabolical performers in the world of magic. Some call him a magician; some call him a mind reader and perhaps even a kind of psychic. In the end Paul Vigil will fool you deeply with his unique magic\, high energy\, fun show and offbeat personality. \nWith a run time of 65 minutes Paul takes audiences on a journey through the classics of magic (all with his own insanely fooling twists) to the presentation of his most clever personal creations – building to an eye-popping finale that has to be seen to be believed! \n \nPaul’s background is as diverse as his magic\, starting with attending Utah State University where he received a “Botanical Preservation Corp” scholarship. That in turn led him to study the science of ethno-pharmacology and magic used throughout history. Paul now combines this knowledge into the heart & soul of his incredibly theatrical performances. Paul’s mind for magic was heavily influenced by his dear friend and protégé of nearly two decades\, the late Johnny Thompson — widely considered (including by Penn & Teller) as one of the greatest magicians of all time. \nPaul has travelled the world studying Shamanic medicines\, with knowledge that he incorporates into his performances. Paul strongly believes that magic & mysticism can have a consciousness enhancing effect on humans\, and his mind-altering show taps into both the real and surreal. He seeks those crazy moments in his show that transcend – so that audiences deeply feel genuine mystery – where even the smartest people attending his show might begin to doubt what they have experienced. \nPaul is excited to bring his mind-altering astonishment to sophisticated audiences for a one night only event in Sedona! \nJoin us for “Doors of Deception with Paul Vigil” on Friday\, May 8 at 7 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. Tickets are $40 general admission and $50 for VIP seating (first three rows and includes a complimentary glass of a Merlot or Sauvignon Blanc wine (21 and over) or a soda/water upon arrival. \nClick on the BUY TICKETS link to the right to order tickets online\, or call 928-282-1177 to order by phone. SUMMARY:Sedona Poetry Slam
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona Poetry Slam will take the stage on Saturday\, May 9. Performance poets bring high-energy\, competitive spoken word to the Mary D. Fisher Theatre starting at 7:30 p.m. \nA poetry slam is like a series of high-energy\, three-minute one-person plays\, judged by the audience. Anyone can sign up to compete in the slam for the $100 grand prize\, $50 second-place prize and $25 third-place prize. \nOpen Slam\nTo compete in the slam\, poets will need three original poems\, each lasting no longer than three minutes. The poets are judged Olympics-style by five members of the audience selected at random at the beginning of the slam. \nSlam poetry is an art form that allows written page poets to share their work alongside theatrical performers\, hip-hop artists and lyricists. Poets come from as far away as Phoenix\, Tucson and Flagstaff\, competing against adult poets from Sedona and Cottonwood\, college poets from Northern Arizona University and youth poets from Sedona Red Rock High School. All types of poetry are welcome on the stage\, from street-wise hip-hop and narrative performance poems\, to political rants and introspective confessionals. Any poem is a “slam” poem if performed in a competition. All poets get three minutes per round to entertain and inspire the audience with their creativity. \nThe prize money is funded by Verde Valley poetry supporters Jeanne and Jim Freeland. \nEmail foxthepoet@yahoo.com to sign up early to compete or by the Friday before the slam or at the door the day of the slam. For more information\, visit sedona.firedrumhost.net/ or foxthepoet.blogspot.com. For a full list of slam poetry events in Arizona\, visit azpoet.com. \nWhat is Poetry Slam?\nFounded at the Green Mill Tavern in Chicago in 1984 by Marc Smith\, poetry slam is a competitive artistic sport designed to get people who would otherwise never go to a poetry reading excited about the art form when it becomes a high-energy competition. Poetry slams are judged by five randomly chosen members of the audience who assign numerical value to individual poets’ contents and performances. \nPoetry slam has become an international artistic sport\, with more than 100 major poetry slams in the United States\, Canada\, Australia and Western Europe. Slam poets have opened at the Winter Olympics\, performed at the White House and at the United Nations General Assembly and were featured on “Russell Simmons’ Def Poets” on HBO. \nSedona has sent four-poet teams to represent the city at the National Poetry Slam in Charlotte\, N.C.\, Boston\, Cambridge\, Mass.\, Oakland\, Calif.\, Decatur\, Ga.\, Denver and Chicago. \nTickets: $12 in advance; $15 at the door. Click on the BUY TICKETS link to the right or visit the theatre box office.

SUMMARY:Stand-Up Comedy Night with Max Meisel
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present Stand-Up Comedy Night with Max Meisel live onstage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday\, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. \nMax Meisel is an LA-based\, New York-born comedian currently featuring for Tom Arnold on his sixty city\, twelve-month stand-up tour around the United States and Canada aptly titled “My Crazy X-Wife” Comedy Tour. \n \nMax is also the host and producer of BackDoor Comedy\, a monthly comedy party combining music\, a dance party\, food pop-up\, social mixer\, and great comedy show. The event has been featured in E! News showcasing its unique take on live comedy and made its festival debut at the New York Comedy Festival in November 2025. After bringing the show to both coasts over the course of three years\, BackDoor Comedy will be at the Netflix is a Joke Festival in Los Angeles in May 2026. \n \nWhile Max desperately wants you to know he’s from New York\, he can’t hide how happy he is living near the beach in Santa Monica as opposed to near the smelly\, rat-infested subway station on 14th Street and 1st Ave. Truth be told\, a comedy career is choice #2 for Max. All he ever wanted in life was to play football for the New York Giants\, but there are not a lot of 5’4” Jewish football players in today’s world. While attending Syracuse University Max walked on to the football team and became the punt returner\, getting his head ripped off multiple times. He definitely has CTE\, which explains a lot\, but he loves solo traveling\, eating Italian food\, and thoroughly enjoys watching his entire family fight with each other during holidays\, weddings\, bar mitzvahs\, and other would-be celebratory events. \n \nYou can catch all of his updates on his website MaxMeisel.com \n \nStand-Up Comedy Night at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre is made possible \nby our hospitality sponsor\, Arabella Hotel Sedona. \nStand-Up Comedy Night with Max Meisel takes the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday\, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20. \nFor tickets and more information\, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. SUMMARY:Invisible Borders
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the one-day-only Northern Arizona premiere of “Invisible Borders” on Thursday\, May 14 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre. There will be two shows at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. \nMeet the filmmaker! Writer\, producer and actor Bernardo Barreto will be in Sedona to host the film and Q&A discussions after both screenings. \nIn an America gripped by fear and repression\, a Latino ex-con and an abandoned boy race against time to find a missing mother — an undocumented immigrant on the brink of vanishing without a trace. \n“Invisible Borders” follows Jonathan Silva\, a Brazilian ex-con who returns to Queens after seven years in prison\, only to find his old life in ruins. Searching for redemption\, he reconnects with Karen\, his former fiancée\, now a waitress and struggling single mother to TJ — a boy who might be his son. As Jonathan tries to rebuild\, he discovers that Karen’s disappearance may be linked to Ted\, his wealthy childhood friend\, and the real father of TJ. With ICE raids sweeping immigrant neighborhoods and no one willing to help\, Jonathan is forced to care for a child he barely knows while battling his own demons. \nSet against the backdrop of America’s immigration crisis\, Invisible Borders is a gripping drama about broken systems\, fractured loyalties\, and a man’s fight to redefine what it means to be a father\, a friend\, and a free man in a country that never truly accepted him. \nImmigration has become a polarizing topic\, with heightened fear and uncertainty permeating immigrant communities. Stricter policies and intense political rhetoric have amplified the urgency of telling stories that humanize the immigrant experience. Invisible Borders captures the emotional reality of these individuals\, offering both a timely reflection on current anxieties and a broader exploration of what it means to chase the American Dream when the odds seem stacked against you. \n“Invisible Borders” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre on Thursday\, May 14 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. with filmmaker Bernardo Barreto present for a live Q&A discussion. \nTickets are $12\, or $9 for Film Festival members. SUMMARY:In the Living Room Music Series: Abigail Earthshine Fisher
DESCRIPTION:The “In the Living Room Music Series” continues its eclectic season at the Sedona International Film Festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre with an evening of profound vocal power and spiritual resonance. Monday\, May 18 at 7:00 p.m.\, series creator\, award-winning songwriter\, Shondra Jepperson hosts Abigail Earthshine Fisher\, acclaimed opera singer who has graced the world’s most iconic stages and who is also a catalyst for transformational healing. \nAbigail’s musical pedigree is extraordinary. Trained as a classical singer and cellist in a family of performers\, her career includes appearances with the Los Angeles Opera\, Cincinnati Opera\, and the Beijing Music Festival\, with performances at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. She has been a muse for modern composers\, premiering works like Missy Mazzoli’s Song from the Uproar and starring in the 2017 Pulitzer Prize-winning opera Angel’s Bone. \nNow based in Sedona\, Abigail has bridged her classical mastery with her work as a traumainformed breathwork facilitator and shamanic sound healer. This “unplugged” session will offer a rare look at how her experience in the highest echelons of innovative art has shaped her current mission of guiding others toward “True Voice Emergence.” \n“Abigail is a force of nature\,” says moderator Shondra Jepperson. “She’s a classical vocal powerhouse and musician in Sedona whose mission is to help others as a sound healer. This evening will be about more than just a beautiful voice and a musician; it will be about the power of self-expression and the courage to evolve as an artist.” \nExecutive Director Patrick Schweiss added: “The continuation of this series is partly because the audience is having a relaxed living room experience with dynamic talent that Shondra is bringing to our stage\, like Abigail. Our audiences are having so much fun with the informal tone of this series\, where they interact by asking questions during the concert.” \nThe “In the Living Room Music Series” is made possible through the generous support of presenting sponsor Cleaner Quicker Car Wash\, alongside concert sponsors Sefton Engineering\, LaserGirl Skincare\, and new national sponsor MoonBrew. This collaborative support ensures that 100% of the ticket sales go directly to the performing artists and the Sedona International Film Festival. \nIn the Living Room Music Series featuring Sandrine Abigail Earthshine Fischer will take the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Monday\, May 18 at 7:00 p.m. \nTickets are $20 and are available in advance at the Sedona International Film Festival office or by calling 928-282-1177 or online at the BUY TICKETS link to the right. SUMMARY:Thinking Like Water
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the one-night-only Northern Arizona premiere of “Thinking Like Water” on Wednesday\, May 20 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. \n“Thinking Like Water” is a 5-part documentary series that features watershed restoration pioneer Bill Zeedyk and showcases low-tech\, low-cost methods to restore watersheds. Episode 1 of the series will be featured at this special premiere and will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker and special guests. \nAll are welcome! It also serves as the kick-off for the second annual Sedona Water Festival happening May 20-22 at the Sedonya Conscious Living Centre. \n“Thinking Like Water” offers the pioneering work of 91-year-old “water wizard” Bill Zeedyk\, and his proteges and allies\, who have continually devised ways of transforming degraded wetlands and drylands into more resilient ecosystems that help gird against drought and climate change. \nZeedyk soothes the watershed\, coaxes straightened streams back on their natural meandering course\, lifts the creek\, raises the water table and recreates lost habitats. All while using simple nature-based restoration techniques he designed or innovated upon. These constellations of “Zeedyk structures” have slowly gained favor over the last 25 years and now his methods have even been institutionalized. \nInspirational and practical\, the film gifts to the viewer practices that can be taken right out of the viewing realm and into their own landscapes. Zeedyk’s rise\, after retirement\, to a legendary visionary in ecological restoration will provide inspiration to anyone who longs to make a difference in the world\, at any age\, and in any field. \n“Thinking Like Water” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Wednesday\, May 20 at 7:00 p.m.\, followed by a live Q&A discussion with the filmmaker and special guests. \nTickets are $15\, or $13 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information\, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A\, in West Sedona.

SUMMARY:Penelope
DESCRIPTION:The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to conclude the 2026 season of its Sedona Professional Theatre Company with “Penelope” live on stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre\, running May 22-24. \n“Penelope” — with music and lyrics by Alex Bechtel — stars Alex Keiper and Alex Bechtel and is directed by Alex Bechtel\, who is also the musical director. \nPenelope has been waiting… and waiting… and waiting for her husband\, Odysseus\, to return from a decade-long war. Given the rest of the soldiers came home years ago – forgive her\, but she’s going to need a drink while she tells you about it.
