Outdoor Film: Raising Arizona

Outdoor films are coming to the Village! The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with Village of Oak Creek Association to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience on Mondays throughout the summer.

Join us on Monday, Aug. 10 when we present “Raising Arizona” outdoors at the Village of Oak Creek Association Park, next to the clubhouse.

The 1987 comedy “Raising Arizona” — directed by Joel and Ethan Coen — features an all-star ensemble cast, including Nicolas Cage, Holly Hunter, John Goodman, Frances McDormand and more. When a childless couple — an ex-con and an ex-cop — decide to help themselves to one of another family’s quintuplets, their lives become more complicated than they anticipated. They try to keep their crime a secret, while friends, co-workers and a bounty hunter look to use the child for their own purposes.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from the festival’s “Movies on the Move” mobile concession stand.

“Raising Arizona” will be shown outdoors at the VOC Association Park (690 Bell Rock Boulevard in the Village of Oak Creek) on Monday, Aug. 10 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7:00 p.m. Parking is free and available onsite.

Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.
