Outdoor Film: 500 Days of Summer
The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with The Wilde Resort in West Sedona to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience — “Wilde Wednesdays” Cinema Under the Stars — every Wednesday in the summer season!
This is the summer of romantic comedies at The Wilde! Join us on Wednesday, Aug. 19 as we present “500 Days of Summer” in The Grove Fire Pit Garden at The Wilde Resort and Spa.
In the 2009 romantic drama/comedy “500 Days of Summer” Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), greeting-card writer and hopeless romantic, is caught completely off-guard when his girlfriend, Summer (Zooey Deschanel), suddenly dumps him. He reflects on their 500 days together to try to figure out where their love affair went sour, and in doing so, Tom rediscovers his true passions in life.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from The Wilde Resort and fun movie concessions.
“500 Days of Summer” will be shown outdoors at The Wilde Resort and Spa (2250 W. State Route 89A in West Sedona) on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Parking is free and available at The Wilde Resort and Spa.
Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.
