Outdoor Film: The Proposal
The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with The Wilde Resort in West Sedona to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience — “Wilde Wednesdays” Cinema Under the Stars — every Wednesday in the summer season!
This is the summer of romantic comedies at The Wilde! Join us on Wednesday, July 15 as we present “The Proposal” in The Grove Fire Pit Garden at The Wilde Resort and Spa.
In the 2009 romantic comedy “The Proposal”, strict Canadian book editor Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) forces her long-suffering assistant, Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds), to marry her to avoid being deported to her home country. Andrew agrees to the charade, but imposes a few conditions of his own, including flying to Alaska to meet his eccentric family. With a suspicious immigration official always lurking nearby, Margaret and Andrew must stick to their wedding plan despite numerous mishaps.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from The Wilde Resort and fun movie concessions.
“The Proposal” will be shown outdoors at The Wilde Resort and Spa (2250 W. State Route 89A in West Sedona) on Wednesday, July 15 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Parking is free and available at The Wilde Resort and Spa.
Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.
