Outdoor Film: Best In Show

Outdoor films are coming to the Village! The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with Village of Oak Creek Association to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience on Mondays throughout the summer.

Join us on Monday, June 8 when we present “Best In Show” outdoors at the Village of Oak Creek Association Park, next to the clubhouse.

The outrageous comedy classic from 2000 “Best In Show” features an all-star ensemble cast, including Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Jennifer Coolidge, Jane Lynch, Parker Posey and more.

“Best In Show” is a behind-the-scenes look into the highly competitive and cut-throat world of dog shows through the eyes of a group of ruthless dog owners. The tension is palpable, the excitement is mounting and the heady scent of competition is in the air as hundreds of eager contestants from across America prepare to take part in what is undoubtedly one of the greatest events of their lives — the Mayflower Dog Show. The canine contestants and their owners are as wondrously diverse as the great country that has bred them.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from the festival’s “Movies on the Move” mobile concession stand.

“Best In Show” will be shown outdoors at the VOC Association Park (690 Bell Rock Boulevard in the Village of Oak Creek) on Monday, June 8 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs. Parking is free and available onsite.

Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.

For advance tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Visit the film festival office at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona to get tickets in person.
