Outdoor Film: Clueless

The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with The Wilde Resort in West Sedona to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience — “Wilde Wednesdays” Cinema Under the Stars — every Wednesday in the summer season!

This is the summer of romantic comedies at The Wilde! Join us on Wednesday, Aug. 5 as we present “Clueless” in The Grove Fire Pit Garden at The Wilde Resort and Spa.

“Clueless” (1995): Shallow, rich and socially successful Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school’s pecking scale. Seeing herself as a matchmaker, Cher first coaxes two teachers into dating each other. Emboldened by her success, she decides to give hopelessly klutzy new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) a makeover. When Tai becomes more popular than she is, Cher realizes that her disapproving ex-stepbrother (Paul Rudd) was right about how misguided she was — and falls for him.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from The Wilde Resort and fun movie concessions.

“Clueless” will be shown outdoors at The Wilde Resort and Spa (2250 W. State Route 89A in West Sedona) on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Parking is free and available at The Wilde Resort and Spa.

Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.
