Outdoor Film: Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

It’s “Big Screen at Basecamp” as the Sedona International Film Festival partners with Sedona Beer Company for its “Movies on the Move” cinema under the stars outdoor film experience at Basecamp in West Sedona — every Thursday in the summer season!

Join us on Thursday, Aug. 13 as we present “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” at Basecamp/Sedona Beer Company at dusk.

The adventure continues in this “Star Wars” sequel. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) face attack by the Imperial forces and its AT-AT walkers on the ice planet Hoth. While Han and Leia escape in the Millennium Falcon, Luke travels to Dagobah in search of Yoda. Only with the Jedi master’s help will Luke survive when the dark side of the Force beckons him into the ultimate duel with Darth Vader.

Basecamp will offer a selection of craft beers, food and beverages (and a special menu item themed to each film), with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Sedona International Film Festival.

“Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” will be shown outdoors at Basecamp Sedona Beer Company (70 Dry Creek Road) on Thursday, Aug. 13 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs. Parking is free and available at Basecamp and the Sedona Public Library.

Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.
