“Stand by Me” is a classic coming-of-age film directed by Rob Reiner and adapted from Stephen King's novella, The Body. In 1959 Oregon, four twelve-year-old boys — Gordie, Chris, Teddy, and Vern — embark on a two-day trek into the woods to find the dead body of a missing local boy, hoping to become local heroes.
