"Resilience: A Lifetime of Art” is a companion to the award-winning book "Resilience: The Life and Grand Canyon Art of Curt Walters.” The film features selected passages from the book, read by the author Curt’s grandson dDamian Foreman, to present an emotional look into the philosophy and personal triumphs of a true master of American art.

The great Willem Dafoe lends his delicate gravitas to the role of Ed Saxberger, a forgotten New York poet who works in the post office. After an eager and flattering young admirer (Edmund Donovan) appears on his doorstep, Saxberger is beckoned into a coterie of twenty-something admirers who anoint him as a rediscovered genius.

In this origin story of a voice that defined a generation, a 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain travels to Provincetown and stumbles into the chaotic world of a restaurant kitchen, setting off a summer that will shape the course of his life.

Convinced he’s destined for bigger things, frustrated playwright Doug (Will Brill) is stuck teaching middle-school theater while dreaming of moving to New York. But when he finds out his ex-girlfriend (Gillian Jacobs) has started dating his nemesis, the school’s principal (Rob Lowe), he hatches a plan to ruin the principal’s reputation by secretly producing the most inappropriate play imaginable.
